Dr. Sketchy: Trick or Treat

I used black and red ink and pencils this time because I wasn't really prepared. At least simpler tools made me focus on getting the forms right but gaaaaah my values.

I challenged myself this time by drawing full-page poses. I couldn't color the whole thing under the time limit but I had finished them before I left the bar

Dragonfire: Sketch Mob

Dr. Sketchy Philippines and Sketchwalk Philippines join forces for the first time to welcome the Chinese New Year with a sexy sketch mob at Bonifacio High Street.

5 min sketches. I added the stylized ones when I got home.


Once again, I whip out my Lil' Hands pens and scribble against the clock.

I hope this won't be the last time Dr. Sketchy and Sketchwalk Ph collaborates ;D

Dr. Sketchy's "Curse of the Black Widow"

Last night I got to attend my first Dr. Sketchy event during the lovely art exhibit of Spidersilk Productions. The artworks of the Spidersilk trio, the set-up of the place and the costumes provided a nice ambience for a night of figure-drawing and drinking.

Some warm-up sketches. Top right is the model, Ms. Prudence, before she got on the couch in her burlesque outfit.


I had sketched things hurriedly so I can add in the colors before time was up.


Some of the audience and the caterers (who were all wearing steampunk or goth) volunteered to model.

Big thanks to Spidersilk Productions for hosting the exhibit. Along with Dr. Sketchy, the Technoteapot exhibit brought together artists and enthusiasts to appreciate art and draw for themselves.

These are months old. I haven't been sharing much in this blog because I spend more time maintaining my 365 Tumblr. That blog gets updated almost daily with my art and sketches. It feels redundant to post things here but I still wanna use this place as the more organized sketchblog.
